Do you have staff working alone in remote or high-risk environments? Now there is a way to monitor their safety throughout the duration of their job and ensure immediate emergency assistance is provided if the need arises.
Co-Buddy Lone Worker System
The Co-Buddy system tracks, records and monitors the status of the lone worker through each phase of their job. The system integrates GPS and a Scantronic Man Down pendant alarm system to relay status alert and location information to a 24/7 monitoring centre ready to respond. The system is automated and simple to use as well as robust and durable, providing national coverage via Fleet Link radio network. One page summary document.
Co-Buddy TRACE-M
The TRACE-M system is designed to provide an infrastructure of key reference points within large complexes both above and below ground. The TRACE-M system uses pendants which are carried by the workers when they are away from their vehicles and can be used to alert the monitoring centre in case of an emergency. Additionally, the system uses waypoints and sensors to trace a worker's location. These are standalone wireless transceivers which can be fitted to a location. They are placed at fixed points within a complex and help monitor the status of the worker as he or she moves past them. In the event of an emergency or when simply checking the safety status of a worker, waypoints and sensors provide a known reference point closest to the worker which is relayed to the monitoring centre through the pendant they carry.
